2025 River Valley Survivalfest

We are finally getting unpacked and settled into our normal routines again after an amazing, long weekend at the annual Survivalfest hosted by Kevin Johnson at River Valley Survival. This was the first year Patty and I (Dakota) taught a canning class. Despite being unorganized, nervous, me healing from a surgery, the ridiculous heat outside, and the number of kids screaming and having fun; we did successfully can salsa. We even brought in some chips to try it out! Out of the people who attended our class, several noted how much they learned and enjoyed being able to sample, that was my favorite part and I was helping teach it! We are looking forward to improving our class and teaching more in the future! We appreciate the opportunity we were given and photo credits go to Andrew who was in attendance at our class!
