Meet Our Founders- Robert & Patty Onken
For years, we have been homesteading, prepping, and have been on quite a few outdoor adventures. We love to share our experiences, so others can learn from our successes and failures. Rob is an Outdoor Instructor and former Boy Scout Leader. Patty has an extensive background in the medical field, and she's a great cook, serving as a camp chef for many outdoor schools in the region.
Introducing More of the Crew!
Meet Dakota, Montana, and Alaska- three of the four Onken Girls. While we all contribute to the garden, canning, cooking, and baking we all have some skills that each of us specialize in. Dakota does a lot of the behind the scenes work. Montana's biggest specialty is with photography. Alaska, despite her young age and size, helps wherever it is safe for her to do so!
